I’m Heather Kitzman, the hands and heart behind Heather’s Balancing Touch. For me, massage therapy has never just been about bodywork — it’s about helping people find balance, healing, and wholeness in their everyday lives.
Life is full in the best way. I’m a mom to amazing kids, a proud grandma, and caretaker of what I lovingly call my “zoo.” Family and community shape everything I do, and that’s why I understand firsthand how important it is to carve out time for yourself. I work seven days a week so I can be here when you need me — early mornings, evenings, weekends — and then I take a week off at a time to recharge so I can show up fully for my clients. Balance matters, and I practice what I teach.
My work goes far beyond traditional massage. Yes, I offer more than two dozen modalities — from deep tissue to Thai, Ashiatsu, cupping, Shirodhara, sound therapy, and more — but I also create experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways. I host retreats that reconnect women with themselves and with nature, Touch for Health classes that teach the art of energy balance, tea parties and sound journeys that blend relaxation with connection, and innovative monthly offerings that keep this work fresh, exciting, and deeply relevant.
I believe regular massage is more than a luxury — it’s an opportunity to reset, rebalance, and come back to yourself. Just like brushing your teeth or exercising, massage can be part of how you maintain health and wholeness. It’s how you make space to release stress, restore energy, and support your body in healing itself.
What makes Heather’s Balancing Touch special is the way I blend it all together: bodywork, energy work, classes, community, and creativity. Whether you’re looking for one-on-one care, a supportive circle of women, or a retreat that nourishes your soul, this is a space where you can breathe, let go, and feel whole again.
